Cathy G. Pavlic
Executive Director
Cathy began her career in child services after graduation from Stephen F. Austin University.  Her resume includes time at the Lufkin State School, Child Protective Services, Court Investigator, and 11 years as Director of the Adoption Center of East Texas.  She is a facilitator of Stewards of Children, an adult-focused child sexual abuse prevention program. Cathy is the founding director of the Alliance marking her sixth year.

 

Amy Donahoe
Program Director and Forensic Interviewer
Amy began her career in Forensic Interviewing after receiving a Bachelor of Science Degree in Child and Family Development with a minor in Early Childhood Education from Stephen F. Austin State University. In addition to conducting forensic interviews, Amy also serves as the Case Manager for each client and their family. Her resume includes five years working with preschool age children prior to joining the Alliance. Amy served as an intern and volunteer with Court Appointed Special Advocates (CASA) of the Pines.

 

 

 

Stacy Williams
Prevention Specialist
Stacy has an extensive background in working with children. Not only has she worked in several youth serving organizations, she was also an art teacher for seven years teaching Jr. High and High School students as well as primary age students in the summers. Stacy has a Bachelor’s degree in Applied Arts and Science from Stephen F. Austin State University, as well as a Masters degree in Counseling. She is currently a Primary School counselor and is spearheading the prevention program for the Alliance with the Stewards of Children Child Sexual Abuse Prevention training.
 

 

Jessica Hernandez
Bilingual Forensic Interviewer
Jessica began her career in Forensic Interviewing after receiving a Bachelor of Science Degree in Pre-Professional Psychology from Southwestern Assemblies of God University in Waxahachie, Texas in 2006.  She completed her internship with Orvie Nix, LPC of Amarillo, who was a partner with CPS and the Bair Foundation of Amarillo.  Prior to working at the Angelina Alliance for Children, Jessica was on staff at her church in Amarillo as the Youth and Children's Director.
 
Blanca Curlett
Victim Services Coordinator
Originally from Southern California, Ms. Curlett moved to Lufkin with her husband and daughter.  Her interest with children is born of two aspects, the first is that she is a happy mother - the second is in the fact that she was born to Missionary parents and that triggered a need in her to help others, Blanca performs support services for victims and non-offending family members as well as administrative support for the staff, multidisciplinary team and Board of Directors.
