Family Greeters:

"The Family Greeter Volunteer greets the children and their families as they arrive at the Alliance ."

•  Family Greeters make the children and their families feel at ease and comfortable while they are at the Alliance .

•  Family Greeters play with the children and visit with the families in the waiting area while investigative services are being provided.

•  Family Greeters help the child choose a book and/or teddy bear upon leaving the center.

•  Family Greeters may assist in the intake process.

•  Family Greeters straighten the waiting area for the next visitors.

•  Other duties may be assigned to the Family Greeter by the Executive Director.

Clerical Volunteer:

"The Clerical Volunteer would assist the Alliance Staff with daily clerical, secretarial and receptionist duties."

•  The Clerical Volunteer would greet and meet Alliance visitors and/or clients as they arrive.

•  The Clerical Volunteer may assist clients with paperwork.

•  The Clerical Volunteer will answer the telephone and take messages or route phone calls.

•  The Clerical Volunteer may shred confidential documents.

•  The Clerical Volunteer may run errands as seen needed.

•  The Clerical Volunteer may interact with families and children in the waiting areas while interviews are taking place.

•  Other duties may be assigned to the Clerical Volunteer by the Executive Director.

Fund Raising/Public Relations Volunteer:

The Fundraising/Public Relations Volunteer will work with a committee of board members and community volunteers to plan fundraising activities and/or plan public awareness campaigns."

•  This Volunteer may plan and organize fund raising activities.

•  This Volunteer would provide input and creative ideas on fundraising and public awareness campaigns for the Alliance .

•  This Volunteer would plan and organize public awareness campaigns.

•  This Volunteer may inquire on donations of teddy bears and books for the center.

•  This Volunteer would research resources in the community that might benefit clients of the Alliance .

•  Other duties may be assigned to this Volunteer by the Executive Director.
